2005 Rental Rates

The Winthrop Barn is available to rent for weddings, bazaars, birthday parties, dances, fund-raisers, meetings, and events of all kinds.

RENTAL AGREEMENT

RESERVATION/DAMAGE DEPOSIT
Deposit is refundable if renter does own clean-up. If Barn staff does clean-up, a cleaning charge of $18/hour will be deducted from the deposit before a refund is made.)
$150.00 Reservation/Damage Deposit without use of kitchen equipment
$300.00 Reservation/Damage Deposit with use of kitchen equipment

MAIN ROOM (Max. capacity w/ all tables used: 265)
$250 Rent (Max. capacity w/o table use: 568)
When renting the barn for two consecutive days, the second day is half price ($125)
Kiwanis & Winthrop Chamber of Commerce - FREE
(No additional charge for use of 8' rectangular tables and chairs inside Barn.)

KITCHEN
FREE - Without use of equipment. Counter space and sinks only!
(No dishwasher or walk-in refrigerator use permitted.)
$10/hour, maximum of $50.00/day - With use of any/all equipment.

HEN HOUSE (Max. capacity w/ all tables used: 34)
FREE– with rental of Main Room (Max. capacity w/o table use: 73)
$15.00 Half Day - $25.00 Full Day

UPSTAIRS MEETING ROOM (Max. capacity w/ all tables used: 58)
FREE– with rental of Main Room (Max. capacity w/o table use: 125)
$15.00 Half Day - $25.00 Full Day

BARN-SPONSORED FLEAMARKETS/BAZAARS
$20.00 for Two (2) 8’ tables; additional tables @ $5.00/table, maximum of Four (4) tables per renter
OR the equivalent of two (2) table spaces (16’)
With Barn Membership: $5.00 discount per renter

ROOM-TO-RUN
FREE – Kids can play inside during Barn open hours in the cold months.

WALKERS
FREE – Barn open Monday and Wednesday, 11:00 until 3:00, or contact the Manager for other available times.

TABLES & CHAIRS RENTED FOR USE OUTSIDE THE BARN
$5/table - $1/chair
ROUND TABLES FOR USE INSIDE THE BARN
$5/table

EMERGENCY SITUATIONS
(Examples: holding a fundraiser to cover expenses for an un-insured accident victim, or a family that is in need because their home was unexpectedly destroyed.)
$125.00 for rental of Main Hall
